Details of the webinar

Last November 9, StackLeague, an organization that has a mission to develop programming leaders that inspire a nation into coding, has organized a webinar for programmers, IT students and professionals. The said webinar was entitled as “Netlify Functions”, with their resource speaker, Mr. Daniel Padilla, a Technical Lead from Detail Online. Netlify Functions was streamed live via facebook and has been watch by over 200 students and professionals across the whole country.

The said webinar was started by the overview of what StackLeague really is. They highlighted their trainings, competitions, and etc. The introduction about StackLeague was followed by the introduction about the speaker.

When Mr. Padilla started his educational talk, he introduced his self and his team iat Detail Online. He also tackled about the prerequisites before he started his educational talk about Netlify.

Reflection/ Learnings about webinar

During the education talk of Padilla, he mentioned that it was his first time to be a speaker in StackLeague. Knowing StackLeague they are inviting great and best speakers to share knowledge about tech and programming. Mr. Padilla was not a boring speaker. He was a speaker that was into details and information. I learned a lot about Netlify and I am amazed about what Netlify really is and I think it was a helpful tech tool for programmers, IT students and professionals.

Netlify is an all-in-one platform for automating modern web projects. Replace your hosting infrastructure, continuous integration, and deployment pipeline with a single workflow. Integrate dynamic functionality like serverless functions, user authentication, and form handling as your projects grow.

Netlify is a helpful tool in building and deploying your projects through configuring builds, site deploy matters and monitoring them.

Reflections on possibilities of implementing the learnings on life applications

I can apply my learnings in this webinar to my future and existing projects. And also, I can recommend Netlify to my friends and colleagues because I think it is a powerful too for us IT students and individuals.

Learnings from the webinar is also applicable when I am in the work someday because I can use it when I am building and deploying my future projects.

Positive feedback

To conclude this reflection, the whole webinar of StackLeague was a great platform for those who want to learn about tech and programming. I am really impressed by their invited resource speakers since their first live stream webinar. Moreover, StackLeague webinar is great platform for learning.

Suggestions for improvements

The whole webinar was excellent. Maybe if there’s one thing to improve in this episode, I think they should filter the highlighted comments, because there are unnecessary comments that was showed in the main live such as shoutouts, and etc. In addition, I also noticed that the speaker’s internet was not that fast and loading part took too much of the streaming time. Otherwise, everything was great and nice for me. I learned a lot in this webinar.
