Video Editing 101 was organized by our team, Overflow. The webinar takes place virtually via Google Meet and Facebook live on October 31, 2021 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Team Overflow provided the speaker for this webinar, Mr. Vladimer Ace Laguisma, Creatives and Publication of the team.
Reflection/ Learnings about webinar
Mr. Laguisma was quite nervous being a resource speaker to the 60+ registered participants of our event, but this is not his first time giving and sharing knowledge to other students and individuals. Being the organizer of the webinar, it was somehow easy than our first webinar, How to Code Together with Python. Basically, conducting our second webinar was a great experience applying all our lessons and preparation that have made in our first-organized webinar.
As I observed, we, as a team, have more team work and coordination since our first webinar was concluded. We already knew the tasks, roles, specific activities per member of the team. We already knew where and what to improve based on the past webinars.
Reflections on possibilities of implementing the learnings on life applications
Just like the How to Code Together with Python Webinar, there was a lot of experience that was so helpful for me because I learned some soft skills that I can used in my future projects or even in my future workplace. I also learned how to improve my previous approaches as we conduct and organized more webinars like this.
By just simply doing webinar management, writing letters, learning some professionalism methods, it helps a lot for me being as an IT individual.
Moreover, this experience was remarkable for me and the learnings was very beneficial for myself.
Positive feedback
Just like what I have said, I was too glad being on Team Overflow which I have a team that was skilled and professional, that can already pull off a great a big webinar like How to Code Together with Python and Video Editing 101. The program flow was so smooth, mistakes have been adjusted for this episode, and all of the deliverables was handled carefully by the team members.
Suggestions for improvements
The team should not be too confident as we approach to our third and last webinar the we will organize. We should aim for more rooms for our improvement, of the team and also ourselves.
Lastly, applying all our learnings are important.
